What this product does

The EC electrode connects to the ProbeBOX 1.0 A/D switch box for EC (conductivity) and TDS measurement with PrimeLab 2.0 or a compatible Android smartphone. Automatic temperature compensation (ATC) helps maintain accurate measurements as the sample temperature changes.

Storage & Care

Rinse the electrode with distilled water after every calibration or measurement to help prevent cross-contamination between solutions.

  • Shelf life: No defined expiry date.

Questions about this product

What does the electrode connect to?

It connects to the ProbeBOX 1.0 A/D switch box, which links it to a PrimeLab 2.0 device or a compatible Android smartphone for taking EC/TDS readings.

What is the cell constant (K) and why does it matter?

This electrode has a cell constant of K = 1.0, suited to its 0–200 mS/cm measuring range. Water-i.d. also offers other K values (0.1, 10) for different conductivity ranges.

Does this electrode measure both conductivity and TDS?

Yes — it measures EC (0–200 mS/cm) and TDS (0–100 g/l), with automatic temperature compensation across 0–50°C.
