Enhanced Measurement Capabilities

Unlike conventional photometers, the PrimeLab 2.0 can simultaneously receive data from multiple wavelengths, covering crucial parts of the UV, IR, and entire VIS ranges. Its LEDs are strategically positioned at 180° and 90° for NTU turbidity, PTSA, and fluorescein measurements. With narrow peaks between 390 and 950 nm, it achieves accuracy comparable to a spectrophotometer.

Questions About This Product

No. The 3 COD parameters are activated on the PrimeLab 2.0, but the prepared reagent vials are sold separately.

All three ranges are activated: COD (LR) for 0.0 – 150 mg/l O2, COD (MR) for 0.0 – 1500 mg/l O2, and COD (HR) for 0.0 – 15000 mg/l O2. Choose the range that matches the expected COD of your sample.

The heat block (thermoreactor) heats up to 12 x 16 mm vials for sample digestion, which COD tests need before measuring. It has preset temperatures of 70, 100, 120, 148, 150 and 160 °C (plus user-defined), and heating times of 30, 60, 90 and 120 minutes. The included 16 mm adapter lets the PrimeLab 2.0 then measure those vials directly.
